FUNCTIONS MAIN

• Performing basic laboratory techniques related to in vitro diagnostics.
• Preparation, processing and proper storage of biological samples.
• Handling and maintenance basic of equipment of laboratory associated.
• Recording, traceability and archiving of results and samples in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strict compliance with the requirements of quality, biosafety and protection of data.
• Operational support for routine clinical laboratory activities when required.
• Management of operations on a daily basis of the biobank.
• Reception, identification, cataloguing, conservation and safekeeping of biological samples.
• Guarantee of traceability, integrity and control of sample collections.
• Implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the biobank.
• Management and maintenance of records and documentation associated with the biobank.
• Operational coordination with the clinical and scientific laboratory.
• Support in audits, inspections, and documentary or regulatory requirements.
• Dealing with customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sample management, biobanks or similar regulated environments.
• Higher vocational training or university degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or pharmacy.
• Highly organised, rigorous and procedure-oriented profile.
• Focused on teamwork.
• Ability to take on functional responsibility, adapt and work as part of a team.
• Professional English will be valued.
